Young Jeezy Presents U.S.D.A.: Cold Summer

Young Jeezy always said that when he made it big, his boys would too. So it's only right that U.S.D.A 's long awaited album "Young Jeezy Presents U.S.D.A.:Cold Summer" was finally released on Corporate Thugz/CTE .U.S.D.A's members include ATL native Slick Pulla, Panama City's Blood Raw, and Jeezy The Snowman himself.

The first single "White Girl", is equipped with a catchy hook and that signature ATL snap, which made this song the perfect candidate to introduce them as mainstream artists. However, other tracks are the ones that should be spoken on, recognized and appreciated. "Give It Up", and "Corporate Thuggin" really stand out as music to ride to, otherwise known as road side support. MEANING: Bump this while your cruising' on the e-way, head on sideways, higher than a kite in a Kansas tornado. "Throw This Money" is a strip club anthem laced throughout with the signature U.S.D.A fanfare, while "Live My Life" is a lighter track featuring fellow A-Town artist Scar, (whom you might remember from OutKast's "Morris Brown"). "Respect The Shield" is something like a U.S.D.A. fight song. Each member showcasing their separate styles as lyricists. "Cold Summer" does have it's downside though. It seems like all of the tracks have Jeezy as the lead, and the other members follow behind. Jeezy should have been a little less apparant on the album. He's on every hook damn near."Pam" is a song directed towards their female fanbase, but it's kind of a sketchy track. They rap about how this chick "Pam" just might "let you hit it with me." Is that supposed to be a good thing?

Although Young Jeezy is still basking in the limelight and kicking out the hits from his second major album "The Inspiration", only time will tell if his counterparts share the lyrical skill, relatability, and hunger that made Jeezy a (trap-house)hold name.
