Carmelo Anthony has a Baby Boy with LaLa

It looks like LaLa, Melo and their two Roetweilers have more company in their Denver home.

The Nuggets all-star, who is engaged to the former MTV host, missed Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors, as LaLa Vazquez gave birth to their baby boy Kiyan (pronounced Kai-ann) Anthony who arrived weighing 5 lbs., 9 oz. and is 18 1/2 inches long.


In a recent Rocky Mountain News article, LaLa spoke about Carmelo's excitment on becoming a father "He's very, very excited about the baby and very into everything, from going to all the doctor's appointments to asking questions to wanting to know every aspect about this baby and what we need to do to prepare. I'm blessed to have somebody like that."

LaLa added that Carmelo wanted to be there for his child like his dad was unable to be(Anthony's father died when he was 2-years-old). "He loves his dad. He has a picture of his dad on his phone. We have two paintings of his dad in our room. He wants to be everything his dad couldn't be. I think he wants to be that for someone because he knows how growing up, how much he wanted that."
