ARTIST ON THE VERGE FEATURE- ODAIN: DO YOU NIADO

Rising singing sensation Odain debut LP, Do You Niado is a nice change of pace from what you normally hear on the radio. The album doesn’t have any sappy love songs, mainly honest music that any person with a heart can relate to.

On the Track “The Question”, Odain raises issues as to why we are here, as he makes the listeners think twice as to their purpose.

Other songs such as the Club leading- title track makes you want to jump out your seat and let the rhythm set you free with its chant and hypnotic synthesizers. And on “Silent but Deadly,” he expresses his distain for those who have written him off because he refuses to fit a certain Pop mold. While “Make it Last” is a feel good track about a relationship that may have run its course.

Other stand-outs include the guitar heavy “Family Affair,” as he sheds insight into his tumultuous relationship with his parents and “LaLa Land,” which is based on the shallowness of pop culture in LA, as many seek out the bright lights of Hollywood. “Let Me See You” is another dance feeling track that features indian flutes as Odain recites “Be who you are, and you’ll go far, reach for the stars.”

And perhaps that line sums up what Odain is about in a nutshell, an artist who reaches for success despite all the obstacles in his way.
