Nate Dogg, the West Coast based hip-hop- singer who at one time seemed to appear in every other hip hop record on the radio has suffered a stroke according to MTV News.
The popular singer and childhood friend of Snoop Dogg was hospitalized on Dec 19. for seven days before being released the day after Christmas.
Rumors had circulated that the artist had a heart attack, but a coordinator for Nate's recently-formed gospel choir, Innate Praise, told MTV that he was hospitalized with symptoms of a stroke.
He is currently in a medical-rehab facility to assist him in his recovery.
