I read the new XXL recently with Kanye West on the cover. The Kanye interview was pretty good, he talked about his response to Beanie Sigel saying he "should come out the closet." Kanye is engaged and is confident in his manhood, he discussed the issue of severe homophobia in hip hop. He added that his two singles "Can't Tell Me Nothing," and
"Stronger," are responses to any negativity he or anyone else is facing in life.
There's also a Wyclef feature as he talks about his Carnivale 2 album which is going to be executive produced by TI. In the feature Wyclef talks smack about Lauryn Hill saying " Personally, I think somebody needs to find shortie a doctor," and goes on to show the writer a recent picture of Hill with a lot of makeup and a bowler hat saying she looks like homie the clown. Clef adds that people want a Fugee reunion album but Hill is going to have to recover before they can regroup.
XXL, got some good reviews in there as well. I was especially intereseted in Boot Camp Click and Havoc LP reviews. They both recieved an L, for Large. Also had a good underground mixtape reviews for Skyzoo, and Termanology. Those dudes are well talked about on the underground scene.
Also had a classic material piece on the Lords Of The Underground debut back in 1993.
I'm out, eof, eof.
