Joell Ortiz's Koch debut "The Brick: Bodega Chronicles," which was released on April 24th, has sold 14,488 records to date, according to sound scan. That doesn't make it any less of an album. This is just how the times are, very few buy Cd's, they prefer to download or burn from a friend.

EOF has supported Ortiz for a while now, see( http://entertainmentonfire.blogspot.com/2007/03/joell-ortiz-nothing-short-of-awesome.html but we're just shocked that someone who is singed by Dr. Dre and is such a beast on the mic would not have exceeded 50,000 records by now.

We're hoping that his Aftermath debut gets the promotion, and production from Dre to possibly make Ortiz go gold nationally.
